I am a young bubbly and sociable lady living with Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus with a shunt in situ and nerve damage. I am also living with a learning delay with some behaviours that display distress. Building the relationship with my Support Worker or Care Assistant is crucial to my wellbeing, and continuity and routine are extremely important to me.

Pay rate: £14.00

Shift pattern: As and when required but generally on Mon, Thurs & Fri 0700-17.00 & Wednesday 07.00-22.00

Who am I: I am a young bubbly and sociable lady living with Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus with a shunt in situ and nerve damage. I am also living with a learning delay with some behaviours that display distress.Building the relationship with my Support Worker or Care Assistant is crucial to my wellbeing, and continuity and routine are extremely important to me. A Support Worker or Care Assistant who is dedicated, and understanding will really help me to live a meaningful and fulfilled life.

What do I need: I require one-to-one support and need an experienced Support Worker or Care Assistant who is committed, caring and enthusiastic, who will take direction with all elements of my daily living and personal care needs. I am looking for a Support Worker or Care Assistant that enjoys swimming, board games, word searches and 5d diamond colouring. I also enjoy going to the day centre. As my Support Worker or Care Assistant you will need to be a car driver with business insurance so that I can access the community for fun activities

 You will need some experience …

To apply for this role, you will need to have previous experience in the care sector, supporting individual(s) with physical and learning disabilities. A non-smoker who also does not vape. You will have excellent communication skills, be committed to quality & support with everything that you do and be able to demonstrate excellent values, behaviours and attitudes whilst supporting our clients

You will need to be a car driver with business insurance
